Pridepodden is a voice for all LGBTQ people. It was created to demonstrate and raise awareness of LGBTQ people’s life situations, where the participants can create their own episodes by telling their own stories, on their own terms, with any topic related to queerness. They are involved in the whole process from beginning to end.
They can speak independently or with others, alternatively they can remain anonymous or under pseudonym, if they wish.
The aims and the goals of the podcast are first and foremost that I want to create a more intersectional and safer platform. I also want the content to be more international and multilingual, so that more people are able to take part of the stories featured in the podcast. The aim for the content and material to be available in several different formats, allowing people who are hearing and visually impaired, deaf or have learning difficulties to take part of the content.
